Shopping for SUV's

Some of you ladies were asking what cars we were looking at for my hubby. We wanted to buy something used but relatively new with lower mileage and not too expensive. He is an SUV kind of guy but fuel economy has been the most important thing, since he drives 40 miles roundtrip to work everyday. The cars we've been looking at are:

Ford Escape



Mazda Tribute



Hyundai Santa Fe



Honda CRV


All of these are smaller SUV's with pretty good fuel economy. We've been looking at a lot of cars and hopefully we will find a great deal soon!

  1. I wanted a Honda CRV or Element *so* bad! I ended up settling for a hatchback due to prices. Sigh. One day! =)

  5. Ooh, good luck with the car shopping! I drove an SUV until just recently (a 2000 Ford Explorer who I named Harold, until he lost his steam, poor guy). I love how it makes you feel all powerful on the road.

  7. I have a friend who recently got the Hyundai Santa Fe and she loves it. She has an hour commute every day and said the gas mileage is great. It also looks very nice on the inside and out. Have you looked at a Chevy Equinox?

  9. We have a Murano and LOVE it! I know that's a bit bigger than the ones you're looking at though. Have you thought about the Rogue?
