A Look Back at 2010: Part 2

I'm back with the second half of 2010!

July

We were happy to go back to Panama City to see the in-laws and spend our 4th of July with PC friends. While I was there, I bought what would turn out to be my New Year's Eve dress :) We also bought new tables for our living room, which was a long time coming, and I signed up to be penpals with 4 other amazing bloggers! The end of the month marked my 1 year blogaversary and I celebrated it with a fab giveaway :)

August

We marked the beginning of August with a big purchase... the hubby's new SUV! I also purchased my first item from Anthropologie, which I thought was pretty awesome, and revealed my completed second guest bedroom, in which all items were less than $20! We also received our season tickets for USF football and I suffered the loss of Twitter and Facebook at my job :(. One of the biggest things I did this year was purchase tickets to go to NYC in December and it gave me something really awesome to look forward to.

September

September brings about one of my favorite things.... college football! Our team started their season in September and we were there to cheer them on! I also read one of the best books of the year this month, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, and really started getting into expanding my library. Another exciting thing that happened was hearing that Lady Gaga was coming to Tampa next year, so tickets were purchased :)

October

The hubby and I started off the month with a bang... we went to see Rush in concert! It was his birthday present and it was mind-blowingly awesome! This month, I joined a book club for the first time, in which I was the youngest by 30 years. I also sold my wedding dress on Ebay and sincerely hoped that the person in New Mexico loved it as much as I did. Finally, after teasing for a month, I finally revealed my Halloween costume and shared pictures from the party we attended.

November

November means Election Day and I voted on who I thought was the best, though none of them won :( I started my Christmas shopping and also picked up some great books at my local library sale. I participated in a blog Christmas Swap and got some great gifts from my swap partner in Canada. Finally, we traveled back to Panama City to spend Thanksgiving with hubby's family and had a great time, including getting some Black Friday shopping done (we are crazy, I know).

December

One of my favorite months of 2010, I started off December in the most spectacular way... a trip to New York City! I had an amazing time with my friends and was so happy to see the Big Apple dressed up for Christmas :). When I got back, it was time to get decorated for the most wonderful time of the year and we had our Christmas party the next weekend. After that, I rocked the Christmas spirit at work and we had a fantastic Christmas in Tampa with family. The end of the month brought college bowl games (USF's is this afternoon) and getting ready for the New Year.

A Look Back At 2010

Here's a look back at my year (Jan. - June):

January

My birthday was the highlight of my first month of 2010. I turned 25 and was able to not only go to The Melting Pot (which is amazing), but also spend it at my house with friends.

February

We attended a Mardi Gras party, I received some gorgeous roses from my hubby on Valentine's Day, and I put together some fabulous bachelorette invitations for my friend Nicole.

March

March was a busy month for us! Not only did we go to Panama City to attend a wedding, I also attended a bridal shower and bachelorette party then put together another one the next weekend!

April

This was such a special month for us because we celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary! It was also an extremely busy month because both of my friend's weddings that I was in happened one week from each other. They were both beautiful and I was so happy to be a part of each of them :)

May
We recuperated from a busy month just in time for Cinco De Mayo and our friend's fun party. I also used this time to start working on my guest room furniture. Other than that, it was lots of beauty stuff and getting ready for summer!

My first trip to Lush was awesome!

June

I spent this month finishing my furniture project, which I thought turned out really nice, and doing some gardening. It was also the month that I opened my Etsy shop for the first time.
