Birchbox


I was flipping through People.com to keep up with the latest scoop and saw a story about Cynthia Rowley teaming up with Birchbox. My first question was "What is Birchbox?" When I investigated further and found out, my next question was "How do I sign up??"

Birchbox is a monthly subscription service that sends you 4-6 deluxe samples in the mail. The samples range from skincare, makeup, fragrance, and more and are top of the line companies like Nars, Bvlgari, Benefit, Kerastase, Perricone MD, and more. The best part? It's only $10 a month!

  5. I signed up for June and was pretty disappointed in the box contents. My box included a 2.1 ounce hair spray, a .50 ounce body lotion, 2 hand towelettes, a 3 sheet sample of blotting papers, a .05 sample perfume and the tiniest .06 ounce lip gloss I've ever seen. I'll give Birchbox one more try but I'm not impressed, aside from the travel size hairspray that I could buy for $1.99 at CVS, everything else was "free sample" size at Sephora or Ulta. It certainly wasn't worth the $10 this time around, but I'll cross my fingers for July. Other box contents I've seen had far better items like a full size Laura Geller baked blusher for some folks in June.
