Rainy Days

If you've been to Florida, you know that summertime also means rainy season. Well, we have been in a drought for the past couple of months now and have been desperately praying for rain. The weekend I decide to go out and do some yard work? It rains... all weekend.

I'm not complaining... not only did I not have to do yard work, but we got much needed rain to water everything. The hubs and I played some board games we recently bought and rain didn't stop me from buying some new shoes :)

How was your weekend?

  2. Of course it is going to rain when you decide to do yard work! Silly mother nature. Unfortunately, we have had our fair share of rain in Illinois. So much so that it doesn't feel like the end of June.. more like April weather.

  3. It rained like crazy on the Space Coast too. All weekend. Glad you got to enjoy some board games and shoe shopping though. :)

  4. it has been pooring in CFL -- I have loved it! It gives J and me a reason to stay home and not obligate ourselves to anything if we don't want to!

  9. Hi! Stopping by for the first time. It's been raining in this side of the world too - and I couldn't be happier. It's about time those fried eggs got washed off the pavement ;-) (Yay for new shoes!)
